I inherently believe that you must be fearless in knowing who you truly are. It's so easy to get lost in this modern world with social media and constant pressure to succeed, to level up, to be hitting the milestones that every one else around you is hitting. But what good are those moments and little wins if you cannot be true to yourself? Your whole self. Your quirks and passions, your humour, your fears and your heart. The past few years have tested me in ways I never fathomed I would be tested and all of these elements brought me to create The Backwoods Blonde. I am on a path of growth, empowerment and rediscovery, forcing myself to face my fears and find my "why" again. Nothing scares me more than bearing myself open, the pain I have experienced, the ways I have rebuilt myself and the good days displayed on social media hidden behind the days where I barely got out of bed. This is my outlet, my story, and my hope that if even one person can relate then it will have been worth it to face my fears and force myself to grow.
